People at the turn of the Century by Dragan Ogurlic is a title of a book which is continuation of the project on the ordinary unordinary people of the Croatian Littoral, Gorski kotar and Istria that through their confessions describe the life at the turn of the century.
Formula used as a criteria for the choice of collocutors says that "those people, by their activity and their interest reflect love towards their homeland" that they themselves represent. This is truly a book about the "small" people, "neighbours"; people who are visionaries, experts from all the professions, hobbyists, but also, in their own way eloquent and hearty, people of incredible energy and unusual destinies, whose lives and work became a living proof of specific qualities, diversities and riches of this area.
